Born in 1987, Karan Desai founded KDAD Studio in 2012 after completing his thesis at Pillai’s College of Architecture in 2011. His practice merges minimalist form with refined functionality, crafting spaces that feel timeless.

During a formative 2007 internship under Ar. Ashiesh Shah, Karan honed his focus on sustainable materials and local craftsmanship. KDAD Studio’s portfolio spans residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, each reflecting a quiet luxury through thoughtful detail.
